Gov. Henry McMaster has lifted the “home or work” executive order, beginning Monday, May 4.
The announcement was made Friday as McMaster moves to reopen the state’s economy, after weeks of a coronavirus lockdown.
McMaster will also allow restaurants, which have been prohibited from providing dine-in services for about six weeks, to begin serving customers outdoors, starting May 4.
Visitors from coronavirus hot spots like New York no longer have to self-quarantine for 14 days when entering the state. Short-term rental companies can also take reservations, now.
