The Leadership Lexington County program is for new and rising stars in Lexington County who show great leadership potential. This learning and development opportunity is designed to harness that energy and focus efforts to help to propel the community forward.
The program is comprised of three phases: learning, service, and leadership. In the first months of the program, class participants spend one day each month participating in hands-on activities that showcase the county’s assets as well as challenges as it continues to grow at a rapid pace.
The class’ service project then gives the participants an opportunity to positively impact an area of need identified in the previous phase. Lastly, leadership is placed on display as the newest graduates help to coordinate the class days for the next year’s participants. Leadership Lexington County is welcoming a new Board Chair, Aneesah Deen-Carlos, Lexington Medical Center.
