Man dies in motorcycle crash, coroner identifies

Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the motorcyclist who in a collision with a vehicle.

The crash that occurred in the 960 block of Two Notch Road in Lexington at approximately 11:35 a.m., Thursday.

According to Fisher, Mr. Dallas Ashton Kalin, 23, of Lexington was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at an area hospital as a result of multiple traumatic injuries.

Mr. Kalin, who was wearing a helmet, was traveling west when an oncoming vehicle turned left in front of him, and his motorcycle collided with the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
